Course objective:
To provide delegates through a combination of theory illustrated with examples and interactive/practical sessions an understanding of the fire legislation, how fires start, types of fires, fire behaviours, types of extinguishers and how they are used on fires, fire prevention measures, and the fire marshal role and responsibilities.
What is covered?
The course syllabus reflects the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requirements for fire safety, and fire safety practises.
Certification validation period: 3 years
