The purpose of this document is to define FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD terms and conditions for consultation, services, and training courses provided to organisations and customers.
The terms and conditions will apply to organisations or customers who procure consultancy, services and training courses from the FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD will not conduct consultancy, services or training courses without an agreement implemented between the organisations financial department or customer and the company.
Agreement – Terms and conditions together with the contract.
Organisation/Customer – Company or person who procures FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD consultancy, services or training courses.
Contract – Detailed quotation, scope of work; timescales; training course content; training venue requirements;
fees and payment terms; cancellation process; complaints procedure; other documentation provided by FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD.
Fees and payment – Procured FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD consultancy, services or training courses and payment terms
Intellectual property rights – Patents; registered design; copyright; trademarks.
To enable FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD to perform its obligations under the agreement, an organisation or customer must co-operate by supplying all the information required for contract to be implemented.
If an organisation or customer fails to comply with supplying the relevant information any expenses incurred by FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD the person booking the consultancy, service or training will be liable to pay compensation.
If an organisation or customer unlawfully terminates or cancels the agreed contract the organisation or customer booking the consultancy, service or training will be liable to pay damages and including any third party costs which FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD has committed or paid.
If an organisation or customer terminates or cancels the agreed contract outside of the timescales stated for the cancellation then the organisation or customer booking the consultancy, service or training will be liable to pay the cancellation fees and any pre-estimated costs in occurred by FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD.
In the event of a 3 rd party venue supplier failing to comply or delaying the FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD from their obligations under the agreed contract, FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD will notify the organisation or customer booking the training course as soon as possible, and if applicable make alternative arrangements.
Any Alterations to the agreement shall be documented in the contract and agreed with all relevant parties.
If an organisation or customer requires any amended to the contract, they must submit a written request of their proposal within 5 working days from receipt of booking or on receipt of the quotation. Amendment to the contract with be acknowledged by FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD and if able to accommodate the request, a new contract will be issued and any fees that may be occurred included and sent to the person booking the consultancy, service, or training course for agreement.
Where FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD requires an amendment to the contract, it will do so in writing and the organisation or customer must confirm their agreement in writing that they wish to continue with the amendments proposed or not. If not then the cancellation process will be implemented.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD warrants that the consultancy, service or training course provided under the agreed contact will be performed as low as reasonable practicable to health and safety, competency, quality and compliance to UK legislation, and standards.
All payment must be paid in British pound (sterling) Fees for consultation or services will be payable within 14 days of the invoice date.
Fees for training courses will either be 100% payable at time of booking made or invoiced amounts payable within 14 days from invoice date. Specified in the contract at time the quotation is issued.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) will be entitled to charge interest on overdue invoices from the date when payment becomes due from day to day until the date of payment at a rate of 10% above the base rate of the bank of England.
In the event that an organisation requires an invoice to be submitted against a purchase order for payment, the organisation’s financial department must agree the terms of payment at the quotation stage. The organisation is responsible for the issuing of such purchase order before consultation, service or training commences.
By organisation or customer:
All cancellations must be made in writing from the person making the booking or organisations procurement department and emailed to lisa.smith.ffa@gmail.com (this mail address is to be changed) If the consultancy, service or training course is cancelled, the following charge will arise
Consultancy/services – less than 20 working days before agreed date, 50% of the contract total invoice charge.
Training – less than 30 working days before the date of course 50% of the course fee.
The time at which the email is received by FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD will be the date the cancellation was requested.
Training course booking date transfers can be made 20 working days prior to the commencement of the original course date without additional changes. Within 20 days of the original date or transferred dated is not within the 6 weeks of the original course date, then the cancellation fee will be implemented.
By FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD:
Reserves the right to cancel consultations, service or training courses.
Every effort will be made to give the organisation or customer as much notice as possible.
In the event of cancellation to consultancy or service, another date within 28 working days will be offered to the organisation or customer.
In the event of training course cancellation, a free transfer on to the next available course date or offered another date within 30 days of the original course date, or without good reason the course fee paid will be refunded.
Any redistribution or reproduction of part of the entire FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD documents, Logo’s or training contents in any form is prohibited unless permission is given for personal and non-commercial use only.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD has been granted permission to use purchased 3 rd party training material as part of the company’s training course.
Personal data shall be accurate and where necessary kept up-to-date.
Appropriate security measures will be taken to prevent unauthorised access or, accidental loss of to personal data.
Personal data will be destroyed after the relevant retention period or when no-longer relevant.
