Course objective:

To provide delegates through a combination of theory illustrated with examples, interactive role play/practical, condition, symptoms, and treatment quiz sessions with updates of legislation, refreshment of knowledge, skills and confidence of first aid.

• Understanding what is first and the main roles of First Aider (including protection against infection)
• Incident management and mechanism of injury

• Types of casualties and how to deal/treat with the casualty – includes: responsive; unresponsive and
• breathing – Airway management, vomiting and recovery position; and unresponsive and non-breathing –
