Who should attend:
Newly first aiders within the fishing industry (<10m vessel), and who requires a First Aid certification to comply with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulation, and fishing industry requirements.
Course objective:
To provide delegates through a combination of theory illustrated with examples and interactive role play/practical sessions knowledge, skills and confidence of first aid legalisation, the first aider role and responsibilities, knowing your equipment, how to identify first aid conditions with casualty(ies) treatment, when to call emergency services or transfer casualty(ies) to medical centres, and how to report the first aid incident.

Delegates must attend the day for assessment purposes.
