FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD is committed to ensuring fire and first aid course attendees are given the opportunities and support to achieve the relevant assessment qualification and receive a regulated or general certification.
Ensure fire consultants, fire risk trainers and assessors are competent in form of qualifications, knowledge and experiences. FFA/0005 – Fire and First Aid Competency Procedure Ensure current and up to date information for fire management, fire protection and prevention measures and
processes/procedures for consultant purposes.
Ensure and provide current diverse fire and first aid training courses. FFA/0006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses.
Ensure and provide a friendly and suitable venue and course. FFA/0006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses and relevant lesson plan.
Ensure and provide compliant training course and formal assessment course. FFA/0006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses and relevant lesson plan.
Ensure and provide well maintained and in-date course training resources. FFA/0006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses and equipment register.
Ensure delegate training is recorded on a register, and re-qualification reminders are sent to delegates. FFA/0006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses.
Certification is issued at date of training course or qualification certification issued within 14 days from the date of the completed course. FFA/006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses.
Ensure all delegates receive qualification assessment (if applicable) and an evaluation form at the end of the training course. FFA/006 – Fire and First Aid Training Courses.
For replacement certification, the individual will have to provide confirmation of their attended course, date and venue. The certification register will be reviewed and if satisfactory a new certificate will be issued.
List of the first aid equipment and literature will be aligned to the first aid training course. Detailed in relevant lesson plan.

Ensure a comprehensive review of building plans and drawings for compliance with fire legislation and Building Regulations Part B. See FFA/0007 – Fire Consultancy and Fire Risk assessment Procedure.
Course fees will be relevant to the course certification, cancellations, late payment, registration, assessments, certification/replacement certification, training resources, training packs, and complaints. Ensure personnel data protection – FFA/0002 Equal Opportunity Procedure
Ensure all complaints received are dealt with correctly and quickly. FFA/0003 – Complaints Procedure.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD audits are completed on an annual basis or where significant change occurs with legislation or first aid training material.
Results of audits and course elevation forms are retained for at least 3 years.
FFA (Fire and First Aid) LTD will be audited and assessed by external authorities or by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) and subjected to their procedures and policies.
